Virucidal against HIV-1 (AIDS virus), Herpes Simplex 1 and 2, Avian Influenza A virus (H5N1) and more. Sanitizes fabric and leather, shoes, mats and equipment. | Applications | PHENOMENAL CITRUS TOTAL RELEASE (PHENO D) is an EPA registered hospital antimicrobial agent and two-way deodorizer for use on pre-cleaned hard, nonporous surfaces including toilets, urinals, bathtubs, shower stalls, seats, benches, lockers, partitions, counters, fixtures, knobs, handles, railings, telephones, furniture, equipment and other surfaces which could harbor hazardous microorganisms. For use in industrial, institutional, commercial, medical and residential facilities, equipment and vehicles including hospitals, ambulances, nursing homes, medical and dental offices and clinics; veterinary offices and animal areas; schools; laboratories; hotels and motels; restaurants and cafeterias; food storage, processing, packaging, handling and serving establishments and equipment; offices; stores; factories and manufacturing plants; and apartment buildings and homes. Bactericidal, virucidal, sanitizes fabric and leather shoes, mats and equipment, fungicidal, controls microorganisms that create foul putrefactive odors. |
| Directions | It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. This product is not to be used as a terminal sterilant/high level disinfectant on any surface or instrument that (1) is introduced directly into the human body, either into or in contact with the bloodstream or normally sterile areas of the body, or (2) contacts intact mucous membranes but which does not ordinarily penetrate the blood barrier or otherwise enter normally sterile areas of the body. This product may be used to preclean or decontaminate critical or semi-critical medical devices prior to sterilization or high level disinfection. FOR USE AS A TOTAL RELEASE AIR DEODORIZER ONE UNIT TREATS UP TO 6,000 CUBIC FEET DO NOT use more than one fogger per room. DO NOT use in small, enclosed spaces such as closets, cabinets, or under counters or tables. DO NOT use in a room 5 feet by 5 feet or smaller; instead, allow fog to enter from other rooms. Turn off ALL ignition sources such as pilot lights (shut off gas valves), other open flames, or running electrical appliances that cycle off and on (i.e., refrigerators, thermostats, etc.) Call your gas utility or management company if you need assistance with your pilot lights. Do not use this unit in an area less than 100 cubic feet. SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE. KEEP CONTAINER UPRIGHT. Cover exposed food, dishes and food-handling equipment. Open cabinets and doors to area to be treated. Shut off fans and air conditioners. Put out all flames and pilot lights. Close doors and windows. Point valve opening away from face and eyes when releasing. Use one unit for each 6,000 cubic feet of unobstructed area. Use additional units for remote rooms or where free flow of mist is not assured. Do not remain in the area during treatment and ventilate thoroughly before re-entry. TO OPERATE VALVE: To lock valve in open position for automatic discharge, press the valve button all the way down, hooking the catch. Then place fogger on stand or table in the center of the room with valve locked open, placing several layers of newspaper or pad under fogger. Leave building at once and keep building closed for two hours before airing out. Open all doors and windows and allow to air for 30 minutes. TO KILL HIV-1 (Human Immunodeficiency virus Type 1; AIDS virus) ON PRECLEANED SURFACES/OBJECTS in health care or other settings with inanimate environmental surfaces/objects associated with the potential for transmission of HIV-1 and likely to be soiled with blood/body fluids, follow these additional SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR CLEANING AND DECONTAMINATING AGAINST HIV-1 ON SURFACES/OBJECTS SOILED WITH BLOOD/BODY FLUIDS: PERSONAL PROTECTION - Barrier protection items such as disposable latex gloves, gowns, masks, and eye coverings should be worn when handling items soiled with blood/body fluids. CLEANING PROCEDURE - Blood/body fluids must be thoroughly cleaned from surfaces/objects before application of this product as a disinfectant. CONTACT TIME - Same as for disinfecting. DISPOSAL OF INFECTIOUS MATERIALS - Blood/body fluids and other materials removed from or used to clean surfaces/objects should be autoclaved and disposed of according to federal, state and local regulations for infectious waste disposal. |
